HOW TO SHOP THE ONLINE SALES!
Hey guys, how are you? Today I am going to share with you some of my tips and tricks when shopping the sales. Hopefully it will stop you from going wild and spending all your bank balance on ASOS.
Of course, I know the struggle when shopping the sales because all you want to do is add every single £3 top to your bag because, why not, it's only £3? Or add three of the same dress to your bag, one of each colour because you "need" them. But, you need to be asking yourself "Do I actually NEED them all?"
It can be hard to restrain yourself when shopping the sales because when one shop has a sale, the rest follow through. ASOS, Topshop, PLT, Missguided...everyone has a sale on at the minute, and it's hard to stop yourself from looking everywhere. This leads me onto tip number one.
TIP #ONE - ONLY SHOP AT YOUR FAVOURITE STORE(s)
It may sound restricting, but you need some self control when shopping the sales. I think my number one tip would be to only shop at your favourite store (or your top two favourites, max). This will allow you to splurge a little more at that one store rather than splitting your budget across five sites. Plus, as it's your favourite store you will be more than familiar with the quality of the products and should know what you like and don't from the brand.
TIP #TWO - SET A BUDGET
After you've picked the shop, you should set yourself a budget. This is probably more important than picking the store. If you set yourself a budget, and you are strict with it, then you shouldn't have any issues with your bank balance (fingers crossed!).
TIP #THREE - KNOW WHAT YOU NEED
So, by now we've chosen our site(s) and set a budget. If you know what you need, perhaps you want some summer day dresses or are looking for a specific outfit for an occasion or you just want some new, on trend summer tops. Ensure you make a list and look for those items only as this will (hopefully) stop you from buying unnecessary amounts of clothes that really, you don't need!
TIP #FOUR - BUY & DON'T HESITATE
Although, this sounds like it may be a dangerous game, I believe that if you hesitate when you are shopping then that means you don't really want it. So, with your shopping baskets full you need to purchase your items and be excited about it. If there is anything at all that you aren't certain about in your basket, then just get rid of it. Buy what you are excited about, and also what your wardrobe needs.
TIP #FIVE - ENJOY SHOPPING
Probably the most important one. Enjoy your shopping trips or sessions online. If this is your passion then make sure to enjoy it. Have fun!
