HOW TO STYLE: A MIDI DRESS

I styled this burgundy ribbed midi dress today with black sock boots and an oversized denim jacket. A rather casual outfit for my short day at uni which is my favourite way to dress, to be honest! I love to dress like this because it's easy and I think these types of dresses are staple pieces for every girls wardrobe. You can dress these up and down so easily; with a denim jacket for the day, like I have done here, and a leather jacket for the evening. Plus you can mix and match the shoes too; I've gone for sock boots which is a bit more dressy, whereas you could also wear black or tan sneakers or black or tan sandals in the summer time.
