WHO'S EXCITED FOR SPRING, FOR SUMMER AND FOR ALL OF THE FASHION INVOLVED?

I know I am!

Today I shot this gorgeous outfit with Thomas, in London, which I am so obsessed with. This skirt and the contrast between the pink and black is my fave. I recently posted my 'first summers outfit' (here) only the other day, which I was so excited about, but now I think this outfit is even more suited to that title! Even though I still used black, the short sleeved t shirt with the skirt just screams summers day. That and the beaming sunshine.

I'm just obsessed.

Details:

Skirt: Carly Bybel X Missguided double layered pink midi skirt (out of stock)*

Top: Zara slogan tee with pocket*

Bag: River Island Faux Fur bag*

Doesn't the sun just make you smile, I literally can't stop smiling when the sun is out especially when I get to wear cute outfits like this. As I said before, I really like the contrast between the black and the pink I think it's different and unusual, but it works. Paired with the soft grey shoes, makes sure that all attention lies on these two pieces, and nothing else.

Obviously this is all personal preference, you could just as easily wear this with a basic white body suit like this one, or a white tee tied up like I have if you prefer that style.

Personally, I would stick to the basics when wearing this top so, grey/white and black but by all means do what you do best. If you can pull off red and pink or orange and pink then you go girl!

I also think this skirt would look really cute with a bikini top on your way to the beach or a tighter fitted crop top during the really warm months because it does give you that extra bit of coverage on your legs, especially if you have your top half out, but it doesn't keep you ridiculously warm as the material is super stretchy, thick but lightweight, and comfortable (yes, even though it is double layered).

Thanks to the double layer, there is pretty much no chance anyone will see your underwear, which we can all appreciate, can't we?
