TRANSITIONAL FASHION | WISHLIST

Happy Sunday guys!

So I don't know about you, but I find it tricky to dress 'right' at this time of year because we are going through that transitional phase from A/W fashion to S/S fashion. It's tempting to wear a bodysuit and shorts with a thin jacket because the sun is shining, but don't be fooled, there can still be some wind and hints of rain throughout the day that we would then be unprepared for! So, we need to have the right balance between thin, summery pieces and warm autumn pieces that will keep us covered yet stylish all day.

If you'd like to find out what I think are the perfect transitional pieces that you may also need for your A/W x S/S wardrobe then just click below...

My favourite piece for this transitional period is coats/jackets (I call them the same things haha!) I am so obsessed with coats and jackets; I think they're perfect because you can take them on and off throughout the day, they look awesome and they're such a statement.

If you saw my A/W Wishlist (here) you would have seen this gorgeous shearling jacket from Missguided which I am OBSESSED with - but I haven't actually purchased yet *crying emoji* - because I think that it's a great A/W - S/S jacket. It obviously has the shearling lining which is great for the chillier days, but that means you could just wear a t-shirt or bodysuit underneath and you'll be warm enough. These jackets would make any plain white or black bodysuit and jeans look so stylish, with very little effort.

Here are some others that I am LOVING:

Faux Shearling Bike Jacket Brown

Nude Oversized Faux Suede Shearling Lined Biker Jacket

Black Faux Shearling Biker Jacket

Check out Missguided's whole range of Shearling Jackets here, they are amazing!

Other jackets that are great for this time of year are:

- Bomber jackets - they're everywhere at the moment! Missguided have gorgeous bombers (view them here) in such a huge range of colours, materials, styles, ones with or without fur, and even cropped ones!

- Duster jackets are also perfect because you can layer these super easily. Pop a crop jumper underneath; or a scarf over the top; pair it with a body suit. jeans and sandals on hot days, then swap them for sock boots on colder days or nights out.

A second love of mine at the moment is jumper dresses (and t-shirt dresses) with knee high boots or sock boots - I feel like this craze is definitely still very popular and won't be going anywhere anytime soon! I styled this look myself, you can view it here.

Here are some others more; super affordable too:

CROPPED JUMPERS!

WHO DOESN'T LOVE THESE?

My current fave is one that I featured in a post a few weeks ago, the 'wonder' slogan crop jumper from Zara - you can view it here. I love it because its lightweight, it's black (and black goes with everything!), it has cute puffy sleeves and it fits like a dream!

Here are some others I NEED in my life ASAP:

- Cropped hooded top

- Pia Black Make Good Stories Cropped Jumper

- Karmen Grey Part Time Mermaid Cropped Hooded Jumper

- Vanessa Rose Heart Breaker Cropped Hoody

- Reiley Grey Cropped New York Hoody

Lets Talk Bottoms

Midi skirts, have they gone out of fashion or something? Because I don't know why they aren't raved about anymore? I am obsessed with midi skirts, and even though I am short, somehow I still pull them off (at least I think I do!) so girls, don't let you height get in the way. How about trying some of these ones:

I find them so easy to pair with trainers, pumps, strappy sandals or heels for a night out as they make me look taller, somehow? And definitely make my figure look slimmer and elongated. Midi skirts are perfect for this time of year because a mini skirt is just a bit too skimpy for the chilly weather, plus I find these skirts a lot more flattering on people in general, do you?

SHOES! SHOES! SHOES!

SOCK BOOTS - show me any pair of Ego or Public desire sock boots and I am instantly in love with them, literally...

SLIDERS

These two pairs of shoes are going to be my go-to's all spring/summer I can guarantee! I just need an unlimited bank account to help me buy every single pair of sliders & sock boots I can find, anyone else?
